Hello TJJ JSU Parents,
We had a beautiful day, starting with a trip to Masada, one of the most famous fortresses in Israel, built around 30 CE. The teens learned about the mass suicide of 960 Jews who were hiding there during the Roman-Jewish War around that era. We discussed the social and moral ramifications of their actions while learning about life up on the mountaintop at the time and overlooking beautiful vistas of the Dead Sea. We then headed to Eilat and spent the afternoon visiting Chof Chananya where we splashed around with water sports, a boat cruise, and snokeling. Wrapped the night with a delicious dinner of Burgers Bar and got rest for whats to come! A phenomenal day!
