Hello TJJ JSU Parents,
Our Lions were able to once again see the beautiful landscapes of Northern Israel this morning as we hiked Mt. Arbel. We then made our way to Tel Saki, where one of the fiercest battles of the Yom Kippur War took place. We learned about this episode through an immersive escape room simulation focused on the tragedies and triumphs of 1973. We then drove to Mount Bental and enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of the Golan and Syria. We time-traveled to 1967, exploring the bunkers used during the Six-Day War and learning about the courageous battle of Mount Bental which culminated in the reclaiming of the Golan Heights.
