Hello TJJ JSU Parents,
After our amazing live DJ last night, we started our day today with a Bar Ilsn Experince where we learned about an israel advocacy organization, that teaches teens how to advocate for the State of Israel and fight against anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in a variety of ways. Then the Jerusalem Journey has arrived in Jerusalem! We started out at the Zion Gate as we entered the historic stone walls of the Old City. The teens were then brought to the scenic Aish HaTorah rooftop – overlooking the Kotel Plaza and Temple Mount – where they experienced an impactful program that connected them to the ground they are standing upon and to the incredible privilege that it is to return to Jerusalem after two millennia of exile. Tearful, they descended to the Kotel Plaza and were given time to pray and connect at the Western Wall. We returned to our hotel inspired and eager for the next few days in Jerusalem!
