Dear Parents,

The last couple of days have been incredible. We had a really meaningful Tisha B’av program for the kids. We took them to the museum of tolerance where they learned about the Holocaust and the lack of tolerance of other people that still exists today. We also highlighted the current situation in the middle east. I think everyone was able to relate to it this year as we were not in Israel.

We continued our trip by going to Big Bear Mountain. We did zip lining which was a blast! One of the zip lines was almost 900 feet long and we reached speeds of 45 MPH! After a great lunch, we took the kids boating on Big Bear Lake where they got to swimming and spending some time enjoying the sun.

We ended our day with a session on the beach and we celebrated a birthday party on the beach.

Today we are Universal Studios and we are having a private meeting with Marc Platt, a producer here at Universal, who has produced shows such as Wicked and Legally Blonde. He will be speaking to the kids about being Jewish in Hollywood.
