Dear NCSY TJJ Lion Pride,

WE MADE IT!!

After many hours on the plane, we landed safely at Ben Gurion airport, received our sim cards, gave in our passports and changed our money! And as soon as we were done with all the technical stuff, we hopped on the buses and started our journey up north – first stop – Caesarea!!

Immediately, we were thrown into the ancient ruins from over 2000 years built by King Herod with it’s famous amphitheatre and race track. Crazy activities that made us all laugh to create comfortability and familiarity amongst us all worked a treat! After a quick lunch, our relationships were developed and encouraged even further when our next program was outdoor training to begin working on the teamwork and communication amongst us all – something that would be essential for us lions.

After an exciting first day, we made our way to hotel Shlomi to have dinner and settle in.

We finished off the day with a long and thorough orientation to make sure that our vision is clear to everyone.

The next day is going to be an exciting one: the beautiful grottoes (sea caves) of Rosh Hanikrah and rappelling! That’s before the big preparations for our first shabbat together get underway.
