Dear Parents,
We had an incredible day yesterday! Our tour guide, Ariel, did not disappoint and he made the Golan come alive for the kids. We started with Gamla, the final city to fall before the Romans conquered Jerusalem. Ariel taught us about the history of Gamla and the fact that even though the Romans tried to destroy Israel, we are back!
We continued to Mitzpeh Gadot and Mt. Bental. We learned about Eli Cohen and Avigdor Kahalani, two people that saved the State of Israel during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur war.
