Dear Parents,
Friday was spent touring the Galil. Our first stop was in Peki’in where we learned about the persecution of the rabbinic leadership under the Romans. We visited the Zeinati family that has had a continuous presence in the city for over 2000 years. We also visited the old shul there that is dated to the era of the second temple.
Our day continued with a visit to our tour guide’s parents in Maalot. They got to hear some funny stories about Ariel and enjoy some ice cream. We ended the day with a visit to the grottoes in Rosh Hanikrah which had a beautiful viewpoint.
We had some great spirit over shabbat and bus 1 made me proud as the loudest bus in the dining room! We are now in the middle of a very competitive game of battle of the sexes! Stay tuned for pictures 🙂
