Dear NCSY TJJ Lion Pride,
After spending the night at the Jerusalem Gardens hotel we went up to Cholon to visit the deaf museum. We learned to build sensitivity towards the deaf community and people with disabilities at large. In addition, we learned to appreciate the senses that we have and not take them for granted. We then made our way to Rabbi Gotch’s house (our amazing bus rabbi) to eat some delicious food accompanied with ice cream and Chaburah sessions.
We ended off our day by coming back to the hotel and preparing ourselves for Tisha Ba’av, the Jewish nation’s saddest day of the year. We hope this will be the last year we will mourn.
