Hello TJJ JSU Parents,
We had a beautiful last day up North! Our morning started at the Golan beach, where our teens built rafts from raw materials and then raced them. It was a great bonding exercise for us all! We grabbed a delicious shawarma laffa lunch and began our visit to the tomb of Rabbi Akiva, one of the most famous Rabbis of the times of the Mishnah. The teens were able to learn invaluable lessons about hard-work and perseverance, as well as connect to this pillar of Jewish history and tradition. We came back to the coast, where our Lions enjoyed a boat ride on the Kinneret full of amazing views, music, and drums. Once we returned to dry land, we walked to a special South American grillhouse for a delicious barbecued dinner. What a day! Wishing you all a good night.
