Dear Parents,

The last few weeks have gone by soooo quickly! I’m sitting in the airport now in Dallas and it feels like I was just here the other day on my way to the West Coast.

We spent our final day of TJJ on the water. We started our morning jet boating which is like a roller coaster on water! After a quick stop in Seaport Village, we headed over to the beach in La Jolla. We went on a guided kayaking and snorkeling tour in the caves nearby. We got to see sea lions and some of us even got to see them swim right by us while we were snorkeling!

We ended the day with a bbq and a closing program at the hotel. We sat in a circle and each kid and staff member spoke about something they gained from the trip. It was so nice to hear about the close friendships that had been formed and the inspiration that each participant had gained from the summer even though we were not in Israel.

It was truly an honor and privilege to be the the bus director of bus 1 this summer and having the opportunity to spend the summer with your children. I was just as inspired as they were by each and every single one of them. Each one of them grew in their own way and it was an incredible experience to be a part of it. I look forward to having everyone back next year in Israel!
