Dear NCSY TJJ Lion Pride,

This morning we packed up our stuff and left Yad Binyamin to our new base in Ein Gedi!

We started our day in the hills of Beit Shemesh to explore the caves of Bar Kochva. We crawled on our hands and knees through the narrow tunnels retracing the steps of the Jewish warriors who revolted against the Roman rule. Following our experience, we came above ground to go off road Jeeping through the mountains!

We arrived later that afternoon at the ANA Ein Gedi Hotel in the Negev. We settled in and are now preparing for our second Shabbat together! We hope to catch up on rest from a long and exciting week of TJJ.

Right after Shabbat we will spend that night and Sunday reflecting of the day of Tisha B’av and its effect on our people through history and our perspective looking forward.
