Hello TJJ JSU Parents,
Today was our first full day of TJJ, and let’s just say, it was full. Our morning started with a visit to Mount Meron, where we had a meaningful visit to the grave site of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. We then grabbed a bite of pizza to eat before our Misgav Am trip to hear about life on the Lebanese border. They learned about Israel’s complex relationship with Lebanon and about the threats Hezbollah poses today. We returned to the hotel to shower, change, enjoy dinner and finally welcomed our second year Yeshivat TJJ program to Israel! Looking forward to our trip to Tzfat tomorrow!
