Dear Parents,
What a blast we had in Eilat! Our morning started with banana boating and tubing. When we finished that we went kayaking and paddle boating. Those that want to just relax went swimming or lay on the beach.
Our day continued with a host cruise in a glass bottom boat and we went out over the nature reserve to see some of the incredible coral and fish. We then dropped anchor so we could go swimming and snorkeling in the clear waters of the Red Sea.
Our day ended with some shopping time in the mall and on the boardwalk.
Today we woke up at 3:30 am to hike up Mt. Tzfachot to witness a beautiful sunrise. The kids said that although the hike was hard, it was one of the most rewarding. Our day continued with a visit to the salad trail where we learned about agricultural innovations in Israel. We then got to walk through some of their green houses and sample the vegetables from the vines.
We are now back in Jerusalem and just got back from a night out at Ben Yehuda. We hope to enjoy the last few days of the trip.
