The Anne Samson Jerusalem Journey
What a week!

Dear NCSY TJJ parents!

What an incredible week we just had! We started our week up in the North and ventured our way towards Jerusalem. Our time spent at the Kotel was truly magical as some of our students who had been there in the past led our students who had never been before whilst being blindfolded. As their eyes opened thet saw and felt the history before them, the place where all of our prayers are focused. It was a remarkabke sight to see.

Our week continued with our intellectual journey through a blind exhibit where the students were able to experience what life as a blind person is like. They were able to experience crossing the street to purchsing fruits and vegetables without the use of their eyes.

We then had an incredible discussion with a advocate for Israel who presented herself to be pro Palestinian. The students got so worked up and to their surprise they were able to experience some of the discussions that occur on a university campus.

Our journey continued up the slopes of Masada and followed with a dip in the dead sea.

Our week ended wuth a tour of Yad vShem and mount Hertzl as the kids headed towards their free weekend.

Looking forward to our journey venturing south towards Eilat and much much more!

Wishing everyone a Shabbat Shalom and enjoy time with friends and family!
