Dear JSU TJJ Parents,
After so much hard work and planning, we have finally arrived safely in Israel and have had a fantastic first day.
We landed this morning, had a quick breakfast and quickly got underway, exploring the ancient city of Caesarea. We learned about rift between the Roman Empire and the corrupt Jewish kingdom at that time.
We finally made our way to our first hotel, where we settled in and got the kids comfortable. We played a few icebreaker games to help everyone get to know each other, and now the teens are off to a well-deserved night’s sleep.
Tomorrow promises to be an exciting day in the holy land! and we can’t wait to see what adventures await us. Wishing everyone a Lyla Tov!
