Dear JSU TJJ Parents,
We take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. Just two weeks ago, we were uncertain about our trip to Israel. It’s truly a blessing that we’re here, and I can speak for all the teens when I say that we take nothing for granted.
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your steadfast commitment to this experience. Your perseverance has made this dream a reality, and we’re grateful.
Since arriving Thursday morning, we’ve had an amazing time exploring and getting settled. We’re loving our stay at the beautiful Chispin hotel, with its stunning grassy campus and picturesque man-made lake. Today, we started with a viewpoint and an intro to our touring with our fantastic tour guides Yoni and Ariel.
The highlight of our day was being joined by the Yeshivat TJJ teens, and now we’re all together – 140 strong! We’re excited for our first Shabbat in Israel, and we know it’s going to be a special experience for everyone. We’re looking forward to a Shabbat of connection, rest, and inspiration to prepare us for the week ahead!
From all of us to you, Shabbat Shalom from Israel!
