Dear Parents:
This week continued with endless exciting activities. We have completed several hikes, including water hikes, and were able to really appreciate the natural beauty of Israel. At one of the hikes many teens faced their fears and repelled down the mountain! Although many of us come from beach areas, nothing can compare to the beauty of Rosh hanikra and it’s grottos. The kids were fascinated that they were actually able to see the Israel’s borders so close up.
We also fully experienced israel’s bodies of water by rafting in the Jordan River and running an inflatable obstacle course in the kinneret. The teens also built their own rafts and raced to see which group’s teamwork created the best raft. Touring Israel would not be complete without tasting the amazing foods. One night we all went to El rancho restaurant for dinner and we also got to make and taste the chocolate at de Karina chocolate factory.
We are now preparing to welcome Shabbat at tel chai. We are thankful for such an incredible week with your children and are looking forward to next week in Jerusalem!
