Dear Parents,
Yesterday we provided the teens with two unique experiences,the blind museum and Shalva. The blind museum provided the kids with an opportunity to experience what it is like to be blind. They went through seven exhibits and had to figure out where they were and how to function in complete darkness.
We continued to Shalva, a centre for children with special needs. This email would be 4 pages long if I told you everything about Shalva. The kids got to interact with the staff, the children, the founder and they also met with Yossi Samuels, the persons who was the driving force behind the creation of Shalva. I want to thank Galia Volcovich and her family for arranging this inspiring opportunity.
