We began the day with Yad Vashem, one of the most well known holocaust museums. Upon entering the museum you could already see why it is so special. The beginning of the exhibit featured a small video of Jewish people smiling and waving which encapturing the Joy and happiness they had before the war began. What was so special about this museum was order in which things were placed. The events went in chronological order and also placed some important events that led up to the war and followed it. The exhibits were intense but important to experience. One of the exhibits The was the most impacting was the hall to commemorate all the Jewish children that were lost in the  holocaust. It was beautifully built and was so special. After going the museum we went to mount Herzl to pay our respects to the many hero’s of Israel. Although this experience was heartbreaking it made us appreciate our loved ones and understand the struggles that many of our Israeli brothers and sisters go through. After two heavy but important experiences we went to the place we have all been waiting for THE KOTEL!!! The advisors put blindfolds on us and we went to the top view of the Aish shul that showed an amazing view of the kotel. Once we took off our blindfolds and saw the kotel for the first time it was the most overwhelmingly beautiful experience. Many of us cried while others enjoyed the view. Once we got down the center of the kotel we all ran to our side and connected to god in our own way. After we all got into circles and sang songs of prayer. It was truly a one of a kind experience.
