Dear Parents,

I am writing this still sopping wet from today’s amazing activities. We started off the day with a video and interactive model about the Golan. We learned how wars were fought here and how the agriculture works.

Afterwards we decided to get a little wet on the Hasbani Hike. To call this a hike is a little misleading, its more of a nature walk in a river. The water might’ve been cold, but it sure was refreshing on such a hot day.

Our next stop was white water rafting down the Jordan River. Don’t worry the water was calm and there was really only one true rapid.

To end off the day we had a gorgeous bike tour around the Hula nature reserve seeing plenty of animals in their natural habitat. Luckily the Nutri, a cousin of the Beaver, was out and about and we were able to see them.
