We had an awesome day at kfar kedem where we reenacted what it must have been like to live in ancient bible times. We rode donkeys and made our own lafa bread all while wearing ancient attire and swag. After this hands on experience, we all joined together for a delicious meat lunch. Everything was made fresh for us and it was so good! 

Afterwards, we stopped off at Beit Shearim, the ancient burial site. We learned about our sages from the Talmudic era and the time of the Mishnah. Our tour guide explained to us the importance of being buried in the land of Israel.  It was very inspiring to see how even so long ago, people traversed and journeyed just to be buried in this holy land. 

The free weekend is only just beginning. We’re missing our TJJ family already! Can’t wait for a restful weekend and recharge for the rest of the best summer ever!
