Today was another fun filled day on TJJ Bus 1. We had a 5 am wake up and we were on our way to the first activity by 6:30! We hiked the Zavitan in the Golan, which was shaped by tectonic plate movements, for about four hours. We hiked into the valley where we got to swim in two different natural pools, where we jumped in and even feed the fish! We felt very accomplished once we completed the incline back up to the top! The views from the hike were very rewarding after the log trek. After we completed the hike, we went to Katsrin to eat some shawarma for lunch. After we had bit of a break at the hotel, we went to Tzfat where we volunteered at Livnot U’lehibanot, digging at a 500 year old archeological site from the Old City of Tzfat!
It was such a fun day and we can’t wait for more!
