Another day in Paradise by Miriam Maes

No combination of the 26 letters in the English alphabet could accurately begin to describe such a perfect day. The day started on a perfect note with a lovely 7:30 wake up. Once the sleep was wiped out of our eyes, bathing suits were adorned and we left our air conditioned hotel into the hot and beautiful beaches of Eilat.
Once in the forty plus weather, we embarked on a journey on a glass bottom boat into the middle of the sea. Not only was the view above beautiful, the view below featured fish of every color.
We then threw on snorkels and goggles and jumped into the beautiful waves of the Red Sea. As if that experience was not perfect enough, we watched dolphins on the way back to shore.

After the boat, our bus ate a quick delicious lunch and headed to smaller boats in groups of 10. We were once again taken into the middle of the sea, but this time we were hanging on for our lives on tubes and bananaboats. The salt water in our eyes was not enough to hide our laughter.

Finally we got into even smaller groups and set sail in either paddle boats or kayaks, getting tanned and having a blast!

Returning to our hotel salty yet almost dry, we had some free time before heading out on our next adventure onto the boardwalk of Eilat, and then ended the day with a delicious dinner.

In order to prepare for Shabbos tomorrow girls and boys took part in meaningful preparations, candle making and talit making.

Even after an exhausting day, I’m looking forward to another day in paradise.
