Day 24 Shabbat shalom!!

July is coming to a close and for those of us on TJJ we can’t believe it’s almost finished. We’ve spent the last three weeks getting to know each other and bonding over our incredible experiences.
This past week has been full of energy and excitement with our excursions to the Negev desert and Eilat. We are now in Jerusalem and ready to take all our positivity from the week and ignite the last Shabbat in our hearts. We prepped for Shabbat by going to the Tomb of our Matriarchs and Patriarchs in Chevron. There we got to pray and appreciate how our history is right before our eyes. Later we went to Kfar Etzion where we watched a movie to further understand the challenges that the Jewish people went through in the late ’40’s (the acting was on point ). After we went to the Shuk Machane Yehuda and bought (rather we bargained) for candy and clothes. Now we are finishing getting ready for Shabbat. This Shabbat will be beautiful since we will be eating at the with our other TJJ buses overlooking the Kotel!

Shabbat shalom!
