This morning we went back in history to one of the saddest times in Jewish history. We took a tour Yad V’shem, the Holocaust Museum in Israel. Our tour started in 1933 with Hitlers rise to power and went all the way to 1945 and the liberations of the camp.
Next we went to the Herzl Museum learning all about the man who started the First Zionist congress in the late 1800’s. Herzl is credited as being the founder of world zionism, and we all owe him for his revolutionary ideas 100 years ago.
After having such an intense morning and early afternoon we relaxed by visiting all the animals in the biblical zoo and topped off the day going to the famous Malcha Mall in Jerusalem.
