Travelling South

Last night we stayed over in Bedouin tents in the Negev Desert. We were able to experience the life of the Bedouin by eating on the floor, eating their types of food (which was delicious)  and sleeping in tents. This morning, in order to go to breakfast, we were taken by camels- which was a super fun experience. After breakfast and packing up, we did a hike in the Machtesh, where we were able to hike through the mountains and taste the salty plants of the desert. After hiking to the top of the mountain and travelling for a bit, our advisors made us blindfold our sevles, hold each other’s shoulders, and led us to the breathtaking view of the “Grand Canyon” of Israel. As a surpise we went to the factory of the famous chocolate milk in a bag – Shoco Besakeet! There we got ice cream and other foods, which was really cool. After a long drive we arrived in Eilat, came to the new hotel, freshened up and went to the mall for an amazng dinner and shopping! It was yet another amazing day on TJJ!

Having a blast in Israel but miss everyone back home,
