Today was Tisha B’av, the fast of the 9^th of Av. We fast today in remembrance and mourning of the destruction of the First and Second Temples.

We had a very chilled nd easy day. We started off the day reading Kinot, which are special paragraphs we read on Tisha B’av morning talking about the tragedies throughout Jewish history.

We then had some free time before we went to the Kotel, Western Wall. We were there with about 3,000 Jews all singing, praying, and weeping over our lost temples.

We broke our fast at the famous Papa Gaio steak house in Jerusalem.
